ABOUT THIS VENUE

Chevin Golf Club

Entering an open competition at Chevin offers the chance to play a mature parkland and moorland course founded in 1894 and originally laid out by William Lowe (brother of Royal Lytham architect George Lowe), formally opened in October 1894 with an exhibition match between James Braid and Tom Williamson, with spectacular views across five counties from the Chevin Ridge and a famously tough par-4 8th regarded as one of the hardest holes in Derbyshire.
