**Due to the uncertain times we strongly advise contacting the host venue directly for the latest information/status regarding any specific event or indeed for any other queries relating to the competition as it is the golf club who generally deal with the organisation/administration/payment side of each tournament.**
ENGLAND: Golf in England (including competitions) can now be played. Hopefully some tournaments will now go ahead although please note outdoor hospitality (except for takeaway) is not permitted until 12th April and indoor hospitality from 17th May so this could clearly impact some tournaments, especially those where catering is involved.
SCOTLAND: Golf is permitted in Scotland, however, people still have to stay inside their own local authority area until 26th April, which is when further restrictions on hospitality will also be eased, so we are unlikely to see any open competitions held until this date.
WALES: Golf is permitted in Wales but the restrictions which are currently in place mean that open events cannot feasibly take place at the present time. Some restrictions are likely to be lifted on the 12th April with further easing on the 26th April and again on the 3rd, 10th & 17th May so we would expect more opens to start taking place over this period.
Following the latest government updates we have asked all golf clubs to update the information on our website (should it be required) but as always we would urge you to contact the host venue directly for confirmation about the status of any specific event particularly those planned for March & April, where entry is not via online sign-up and where catering is involved.
