National Club Golfer Magazine
National Club Golfer - Scotland.
National Club Golfer Magazine produced a Top 100 Scotland in 2018 and the results can be seen below.
Please note that we have stopped the list at 50 for Scotland as we believe the quality at 50th place is roughly the equivalent to 100th place in the English list.
The methodology placed an emphasis on the number of times and how recently the panel had played the courses.
Comparing it to the equivalent lists from Golf World and the Top 100 website there are seven courses included here that do not make the cut in both the other two lists; Crail (Balcomie), Ladybank, Gleneagles (PGA Centenary), Moray (New), Shiskine, Kilspindie and West Kilbride.
The courses which you might have expected to see and do feature in the other two lists are; Fraserburgh (Corbiehill), Lundin, Monifieth (Medal) and the Duke's St Andrews.
Golf Empire founder, Ed Battye, who was a panel member has played all the courses on the list and below you can find links to his golf course reviews.
