Golf Course Overview

Worsley Golf Club is a beautiful parkland course founded in 1894 and redesigned in 1937 by the legendary James Braid, situated just six miles west of Manchester in Monton Green, Eccles. The 18-hole layout measures 6,260 yards at a par of 71, with gently rolling fairways lined by an attractive blend of mature trees providing a relaxing yet genuinely challenging round. The greenkeeping team take immense pride in maintaining the course in immaculate condition year-round, and the greens are consistently praised for their quality and pace. Visitors can also enjoy a grandstand view of the 1st tee and 18th green from the clubhouse balcony.

Worsley warmly welcomes visitors and societies throughout the season with a wide range of packages available. The clubhouse provides an excellent environment for post-round hospitality with a fine food menu and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Located conveniently close to the M60 and M602 motorways, the club is easily accessible from Manchester city centre and the wider North West.
