Golf Course Overview

Woodbury Park Golf Club is a 27-hole parkland resort set in approximately 500 acres of rolling Devon countryside between Exeter and the Jurassic Coast. The flagship Oaks Course, designed by Hamilton Stutt and long associated with former Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell — who bought the resort in 1994 — plays to a par of 73 and can stretch to 7,314 yards from the championship tees, though regular gents' markers offer a more playable 6,500 yards. The course combines tree-lined fairways, USGA-specification greens and strategic water hazards, with the par-3 18th across a lake to a near-island green providing a dramatic finish in front of the clubhouse. The shorter nine-hole Acorns Course offers an easier round or a warm-up, with greens maintained to the same standard and memorable views across the Exe Valley.

The Oaks has hosted the Nigel Mansell Sunseeker International Classic, a European Seniors Tour event, and the McGregor Trophy (a leading U16 amateur event whose past champions include Justin Rose and Edoardo Molinari). The resort is now part of The Club Company's portfolio and offers a 56-bedroom four-star hotel, self-catering lodges, Aura Spa, Technogym-equipped gym, indoor pool, hydro pool, outdoor padel courts, a Strike Shack Toptracer driving range, two restaurants and conference facilities. Woodbury Park is located off the B3180 at Woodbury near Exeter, easily reached via junction 30 of the M5.
