Golf Course Overview
Stourbridge Golf Club was founded in 1892 and has occupied its current site at Pedmore for the majority of its history, with the 18-hole course reworked by architect Mike Cox in 1998. The parkland layout measures around 6,151 yards to a par of 70 and is built on sand, which gives it excellent drainage and supports year-round play. Fairways are lined with mature trees, and a balanced mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s — including the long par 4 4th and testing 15th — rewards steady and accurate golf over raw length.
The clubhouse has two lounges, a private dining room for up to 120 covers, and a large patio overlooking the course, hosting weddings, wakes, and society events. The club runs monthly Winter Mixed Opens from October to March alongside a full member competition calendar. Stourbridge sits on Worcester Lane in Pedmore, within easy reach of the A491 and Junction 3 and 4 of the M5.
