St Anne's is a challenging links course with some fairly long holes and tough but enjoyable par 3s.
First rate experience from the very helpful friendly staff in the pro shop to the first class greens. Highly recommended.

Golf Course Overview
St Annes Old Links Golf Club is one of Lancashire's great championship links courses, founded in 1901 on the site of the original Lytham and St Annes Golf Club. The course was first laid out by George Lowe and extended to 18 holes by Sandy Herd in 1910, with the layout remaining faithful to its classic links character — flat, windswept, and uncompromising, measuring 6,907 yards at a par of 72. The famous par-three 9th hole, "Cannon", was voted by Golf World as the Top 9th Hole in Great Britain and Ireland, and so impressed Bobby Jones that he reportedly took detailed measurements during his preparation for The Open. The club regularly features in the Golf World, Today's Golfer, and National Club Golfer Top 100 courses in England.
St Annes Old Links hosted Final Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2018 to 2022, has hosted qualifying for the Women's British Open and the Senior Open, and in 2022 co-hosted The Amateur Championship with neighbouring Royal Lytham & St Annes. Set just minutes from Royal Lytham, Fairhaven, and Blackpool Airport, it is a jewel of England's Golf Coast and an essential destination for any serious links golfer.
