Golf Course Overview
Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club was founded in 1909 and laid out by Tom Williamson, with later remodelling work undertaken by Frank Pennink in 1972. The 18-hole parkland course measures around 6,483 yards to a par of 70 and is set on the gently rolling countryside just south-east of Nottingham. Fairways flow through mature tree-lined corridors, with strategic bunkering, subtle greens and water in play on several holes – the well-protected 1st green and the par-4 10th across Radcliffe Pond are particular highlights that reward accurate shot-making.
The club has a strong reputation for hospitality, with a comfortable clubhouse serving popular Sunday lunches and hosting private functions. Facilities include a pro shop, practice area and competition calendar covering men's, ladies' and junior sections. Located on Dewberry Lane, off Cropwell Road, the club is easily reached from Nottingham via the A52.
