Golf Course Overview

Preston Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming private members' club nestled within 120 acres of beautiful tranquil parkland in Fulwood on the north side of Preston. Founded in 1892, the 18-hole course measures 6,278 yards at a par of 71 and bears the influence of legendary designers including James Braid, Harry Vardon, Alister MacKenzie, and Sandy Herd. With approximately 75 bunkers, tree-lined fairways, and water hazards providing many challenges, the course holds a slope rating of 140 — confirming that its challenge far exceeds what its modest yardage might suggest.

Preston Golf Club is an England Golf and Lancashire championship venue, and boasts USGA-standard greens that are widely regarded as some of the finest in Lancashire. Practice facilities include a 16-bay TopTracer floodlit driving range and a short game area, while the welcoming clubhouse provides food, bar, and function facilities for events of all types. The club is easily accessible from both the M6 and M55 motorways.
