Golf Course Overview

Maxstoke Park Golf Club was founded in 1898 and today plays on a course redesigned by Hawtree Ltd that opened in its present form in 1948. Set within the grounds of the 14th-century moated Maxstoke Castle — owned and occupied by the Fetherston-Dilke family for more than 400 years — the 18-hole parkland layout covers over 100 acres and plays to a par of 71 over 6,418 yards with a slope rating of 130. The largely flat terrain features open fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards on six holes, with a testing long par four at the 17th bringing the course home near the castle and Manor House.

The club is a regular host to Warwickshire county and Midland-level matches as well as numerous society events, with on-site PGA professional, well-stocked pro shop, practice facilities, modern clubhouse with dining and a patio overlooking the course. Function rooms are available for weddings, corporate events and celebrations. Located on Castle Lane, Coleshill, the club is easily reached from the M6 and M42.
