The course was fantastic, it was in great condition and the greens are impeccable. Not over challenging but still challenging enough and the layout is great.
The staff were fantastic and really helpful and friendly, the club house is fine, a bit dated but fine but the views from the veranda were exceptional.

Golf Course Overview
Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club was originally founded in 1906 and moved to its current site at Scaleber Lane, Barbon, in 1991, where the present 18-hole parkland course was laid out by Bill Squires. It stretches to approximately 6,594 yards across more than 160 acres of the Lune Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The routing is set out as two anti-clockwise loops: the front nine crosses Barbon Beck and works down to the River Lune, while the back nine climbs north up the valley offering spectacular views of the Howgill Fells, with the signature par-3 17th played to a green perched just beyond Barbon Beck.
Facilities include a driving range, short-game practice area, three-hole short course, practice bunker and a professional shop. The clubhouse offers bar service, indoor and outdoor dining, and a programme of society, visiting-party and stay-and-play packages in partnership with the Orange Tree Hotel and the Barbon Inn. Visitors are welcomed every day of the week subject to booking, and the club hosts county and regional events. Kirkby Lonsdale is easily reached from junctions 35 and 36 of the M6.
