Golf Course Overview

Irvine Ravenspark Golf Club opened in 1907 and sits just two miles north of Irvine town centre off the Kilwinning Road. The 18-hole parkland course has two distinct characters: the older back nine has a rolling, links-style feel and is the more memorable of the two halves, while the front nine is more gently contoured. The course is generally flat with easy walking, and subtle undulations on the greens combine with a scattering of tight pot bunkers to provide interest. It is managed by KA Leisure on behalf of North Ayrshire Council, with a thriving independent members' club using the course.

On-site PGA professional Peter Bond runs a well-stocked shop with coaching options, trolley hire and beginner advice. A "Quick Six" express golf format is offered alongside traditional 9- and 18-hole play. The clubhouse provides catering and showers, and individual visitors and parties are welcome, with tee times bookable up to seven days ahead through the pro shop. The course is a short drive from the A78 and Irvine railway station and pairs well with neighbouring Gailes Links, Western Gailes and Dundonald for an Ayrshire itinerary.
