Golf Course Overview

Holsworthy Golf Club was established in 1937 and is set in the heart of North Devon's Ruby Country, close to the border with Cornwall. The 18-hole parkland course stretches to 6,045 yards and plays to a par of 70, with a course rating of 68.7 and slope of 117. Mature trees, water features and well-manicured fairways shape the layout, which offers a mix of longer, demanding holes and more forgiving stretches suitable for higher handicaps. Views from the course take in rolling North Devon farmland, and on clear days Dartmoor is visible from the 10th tee.

The club has a fully licensed clubhouse with locally sourced, homemade catering served every day, a PGA professional offering tuition and a well-stocked shop, and plenty of social activity including weekly roll-ups and competitions. Societies and holidaymakers are welcomed, and the club positions itself as a friendly, family-oriented venue rather than a formal establishment. Holsworthy lies off the A3072 at Killatree, making it an easy drive from Bude, Bideford, Barnstaple, Launceston and Westward Ho! and a suitable base for touring the coast of North Devon and Cornwall.
