Golf Course Overview
Hainsworth Park Golf Club, set in the village of Brandesburton in Holderness, was founded in 1983 as a nine-hole course and subsequently expanded into a full 18-hole parkland layout of around 6,362 yards. The design rewards thought and shot-shaping over brute length, with wide but tree-lined fairways, a scattering of water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The course is known locally for its excellent drainage, which keeps it playable through the winter months when neighbouring courses may be affected by wet weather, and for the quality of its greens.
A welcoming clubhouse offers a bar, catering and an outdoor seating area, alongside a pro shop with buggy and club hire. PGA coaching and practice facilities, including a putting green, are available on site. Visitors, societies and charity days are welcomed year-round, and the club runs a varied programme of open competitions. Hainsworth Park is approximately six miles north-west of Beverley, reached off the A165 at Brandesburton roundabout, and is within a short drive of Hull, Driffield and Hornsea.
