Golf Course Overview
The Grove Golf Club sits just outside the Victorian seaside town of Porthcawl at South Cornelly, Mid Glamorgan, and was founded in 1996. The 18-hole parkland course measures around 6,300 yards to a par of 73 with a further par 70 and 70 configuration possible across the A and B nines, offering spectacular views across the Bristol Channel. A central lake comes into play across three fairways, providing a challenging feature that makes for interesting decisions for golfers of all abilities.
The clubhouse is a focal point of the club, with a restaurant and bar open to the public serving lunches and evening meals alongside a picture-perfect view and a terrace for warmer days. Function and conference rooms with terrace are suitable for weddings, societies and corporate days, and there is on-site accommodation available for golf breaks. A driving range, pro shop, putting green and buggy hire round out the facilities. The Grove is conveniently located on the A4229 just a mile from Junction 37 of the M4.
