Golf Course Overview
Forest Pines is a 27-hole parkland golf resort designed by former PGA Tour player John Morgan and opened in 1996. Set in 190 acres of Lincolnshire woodland, the course comprises three nine-hole loops — the Beeches (par 35, 3,102 yards), Forest (par 36, 3,291 yards) and Pines (par 37, 3,551 yards) — that can be combined into various 18-hole configurations. The most popular championship combination of Forest and Pines plays to a par of 73 over approximately 6,842 yards, with tree-lined fairways, water hazards and undulating greens testing every level of player. Notable venues such as the R&A Boys Home Internationals and the PGA Fourball Championships have been staged here.
The resort is part of the DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort, offering a hotel, spa, health club with pool and gym, conference facilities, restaurants and a fully stocked pro shop with PGA coaching. A full-length driving range and putting green complete the golfing facilities. Forest Pines is located just off Junction 4 of the M180 between Brigg and Broughton.

Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
"I've played all 27 holes at Forest Pines on a number of occasions."
The latest was in early March 2015 when a game here reminded me just how well the course plays, particularly in the off-season. There were no muddy trousers or having to clean your shoes after a round here.
