Golf Course Overview

Fiddlers Ferry Golf Club, now part of the True Fit Golf Centre, is one of the North West's newer golf courses, covering 120 acres of land near Warrington. The 18-hole parkland layout was self-built by True Fit Golf founder Mark Overton, with the first nine shaped in 2004 and the full 18 holes completed by 2009 and officially opened in June 2010. Playing to a par of 70 from approximately 5,474 yards (with championship length over 7,000 yards), all greens and tees were built to USGA specifications and the course features many water features, gentle undulations, dogleg holes and tree-lined fairways with views over Warrington and Daresbury.

The wider True Fit Golf Centre incorporates a 22-bay driving range with TopTracer technology, two teaching studios, a large pro shop with custom-fitting services, café and barbershop, with PGA professional tuition available. The site is open to the public seven days a week with a range of competitive membership and pay-and-play options. Located at 1 Widnes Road in Cuerdley, near Penketh, the centre is easily accessed from the A562 and is convenient for Warrington, Widnes, St Helens and Liverpool.
