 Golf Course Overview

Ffestiniog Golf Club at Pencefn, Llan Ffestiniog in North Wales, was a nine-hole mountain course of around 4,600 metres (par 68) sitting roughly 900 feet above sea level (one of the highest courses in Wales) on land leased from The Crown Estate; founded in 1893, it was one of the oldest clubs in Wales and offered extraordinary views over the surrounding mountains and coast. After sustained losses the club closed on 31 March 2014, the lease was surrendered, and the clubhouse has since been converted into Treks Bunkhouse, a hostel for walkers and adventure-sport visitors.

Closed 2014.
