Golf Course Overview
Evesham Golf Club was founded in 1894 and sits beside the River Avon in the Vale of Evesham at Craycombe Links, Fladbury. The course has nine greens but 18 separate tees, giving around 6,019 yards and a par of 72 with two distinctly different loops — the 3rd, for example, plays as a 385-yard par 4 on the outward nine and a 431-yard dogleg par 4 as the 12th. The River Avon runs alongside the 5th and 14th holes, while a brook, tree-lined fairways, and elevated tees at the 8th and 17th add to the challenge.
The clubhouse has been refurbished and offers a bar, restaurant, and private function facilities alongside a pro shop and practice area. Visitors are welcomed by prior arrangement and the club runs a busy programme of opens, society days, and junior events. Evesham is one of the oldest parkland clubs in the county and is easily reached from the A44 between Evesham and Pershore, with the M5 at Junction 7 only a short drive away.
