Golf Course Overview

Erlestoke Golf Club opened in May 1992 on the northern edge of Salisbury Plain and was designed by Adrian Stiff. The family-owned course is routed through roughly 140 acres of mature parkland and downland and plays to a par of 72 at around 6,485 yards from the championship tees, with three sets of tees on offer to accommodate all levels of golfer. The layout incorporates natural water hazards, mature trees and woodland, rolling fairways and wide vistas across the Pewsey Vale, giving the course a distinct sense of scale and tranquillity. Drainage is generally very good, allowing year-round play on full greens.

Club facilities include a clubhouse with the Balcony Bar, Arnies restaurant, a pro shop and tuition from the resident professional. Visitors, societies and corporate days are welcomed, and the venue is also used for weddings and private functions. Erlestoke is a member of the Wiltshire Golf Network and hosts county and open competitions throughout the season. The course is located just off the B3098 between Westbury and Devizes.
