Golf Course Overview

Founded in 1900, Elsham Golf Club is one of Lincolnshire's premier courses, set in 135 acres of idyllic wooded countryside between Scunthorpe and Grimsby. The layout combines heathland and parkland features over gently undulating ground, playing to a par of 71 over 6,453 yards. Extended from nine to 18 holes in the early 1930s by Nottingham professional Tom Williamson, the course has been enhanced further in the 1980s and again since the millennium. Notable holes include the consecutive par 5s at the 4th and 5th, the grass-ditch-guarded par-3 6th, the dog-leg 15th and a strong finishing run of par 4s.

Open Champion Tony Jacklin CBE (who won the Elsham Open here in 1958) is an honorary member, and the club hosted the English Senior Men's Open Amateur Championship in 2019. Facilities include a welcoming clubhouse with bar and catering, professional coaching and a well-stocked pro shop. The club is conveniently located just five minutes from Junction 5 of the M180.
