Golf Course Overview
Ealing Golf Club was founded in 1898 as the Castle Bar Golf Club and became a members' club in 1901 on its current Perivale parkland site. The original course was laid out by James Braid, with a significant redesign in 1926 by Harry S. Colt after the club expanded its grounds and adjusted its routing around the construction of Western Avenue. The present layout is a challenging par 70 of around 6,144 to 6,148 yards, with a slope of 132. Tight, tree-lined fairways, the River Brent crossing several holes and fast, true greens have made the course a reputable proving ground for tournament golfers.
The club has invested in class-leading fairway irrigation and drainage in recent years, ensuring excellent conditions year-round, and the grounds are also home to St Mary's of Perivale, one of London's oldest churches. Facilities include a driving range, short game and putting areas, a pro shop, a welcoming clubhouse with bar and restaurant, and function rooms licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies for up to 170 guests. Ealing is only minutes from the A40 at Perivale, giving easy access from central London and the western suburbs.
