Golf Course Overview
Dyrham Park Country Club occupies a 200-acre Elizabethan estate about a mile north-west of Barnet, with a restored listed 19th-century manor house as the clubhouse. The 18-hole parkland course was laid out by C.K. Cotton in 1963 and later refreshed by Jonathan Gaunt in 2013. It plays to a par 72 over around 6,497 yards, with tree-lined fairways and several water holes. Accuracy off the tee is essential from the opening stretch, and "The Loop" – holes 14 to 16 – features three consecutive water holes often described as the club's answer to Augusta's Amen Corner. The short par-4 7th is regarded as the signature hole, tempting bigger hitters over a 200-yard lake carry.
The club offers a grand clubhouse with restaurant and bars, snooker room, indoor pool, padel courts, pilates studio and Bridge facilities, plus a strong calendar of weddings and private events. Practice amenities include a putting green, chipping area and driving net. Members and their guests play the course, with societies and golf days welcomed. Dyrham Park sits approximately one minute from junction 23 of the M25 via the Galley Lane entrance off the A1.
