 Golf Course Overview

Dunwood Manor Golf Club at Awbridge near Romsey, Hampshire, was a picturesque 18-hole parkland course of 6,021 yards set within ancient woodland and featuring an Iron Age hillfort (Dunwood Camp) on part of the property, opened in 1970 by Southampton footballer Ron Davies, with an oak-beamed clubhouse and on-site self-catering lodges. The owners (Brook Enterprises) announced closure in 2011, with the course shutting in May 2012; the land has since reverted to woodland and rural use.

Closed 2012.
