Golf Course Overview

Dunnikier Park Golf Club is set in the Dunnikier Country Park on the north side of Kirkcaldy. The 18-hole parkland course was formed in 1963 and measures 6,546 yards with a par of 72, characterised by mature tree-lined rolling fairways and greens well protected by bunkers on both sides. The front nine plays through secluded woodland while the back nine opens out to wider views of the Lomond Hills. The signature 7th, "The Dip," is a 368-yard par-4 where the fairway disappears into a dip before rising to the green; the demanding 8th ("The Deception") is an uphill 383-yard par-4, while two par-5s at the 9th and 12th provide further variety.

The course is managed by Fife Golf Trust, with the clubhouse (extensively refurbished and expanded in 2001) run by the private Dunnikier Park Golf Club – offering modern catering, bar, locker rooms and changing facilities. A jointly-funded 6-hole "2019 Course" on site provides an attractive route into golf for beginners. The course has an accessibility policy for disabled players and welcomes visiting parties tailored to size, with bookings handled via the club professional. Located on Dunnikier Way to the north of Kirkcaldy town centre, the course is easily reached from the A92 and sits just 30 minutes' drive from both St Andrews and Edinburgh.
