 Golf Course Overview

Dundas Parks Golf Club was founded in 1957 on land originally part of the farm belonging to the nearby Dundas Castle estate, set between South Queensferry and Kirkliston on the western edge of Edinburgh. The gently undulating nine-hole parkland course is played twice to make up a full round of 18 holes measuring around 6,324 yards at par 70, and offers attractive views toward Edinburgh and the Pentland Hills. The layout is defined by a mixture of short par-3s well protected by mature trees and bunkers together with several longer, narrower holes that reward straight driving. The greens are widely admired for running fast and true, and the 496-yard par-5 second is the longest hole on the card.

The club has an active membership of more than 550 players across men's, ladies' and junior sections and runs a busy junior coaching programme. It is affiliated to Scottish Golf and the Linlithgowshire Golf Association, and has hosted the regional finals of the Scottish Golf 9-Hole Challenge. The clubhouse provides separate Gents' and Ladies' changing rooms, a relaxed lounge with a self-service trust bar, decking overlooking the ninth, and catering on competition days. Visitors are welcomed by prior arrangement, and the course lies close to the Forth bridges and the M9.
