Golf Course Overview
Dudley Golf Club was a long-standing members' section that played at the Allerton Municipal Golf Course on Menlove Avenue in south Liverpool, sharing the historic parkland layout with the wider municipal membership for many decades. The club came to an end when Allerton Municipal itself was closed by Liverpool City Council and the entire site was leased to Green Circle Leisure on a 150-year lease for redevelopment. The land has since been completely re-laid as Allerton Manor Golf Club, with a new championship course, academy course, hotel and clubhouse replacing the municipal layout that Dudley had called home.
