Golf Course Overview
Droitwich Golf & Country Club was founded in 1897 and takes its present form largely from a 1923 redesign by the celebrated Scottish architect James Braid, with later alterations by G. Franks. The 18-hole parkland layout covers around 107 acres and measures approximately 6,019 yards to a par of 70, with undulating fairways, mature trees, and a number of strategically placed bunkers. Though not long by modern standards, the course has a clever routing and tight greens that continue to test accomplished players.
The clubhouse includes a bar and restaurant, and the club runs a full calendar of member, open, and society events, together with an active ladies' and juniors' section. Practice facilities include a putting green, chipping area, and net. The club lies just off the A38 north of Droitwich Spa, within easy reach of Junction 5 of the M5, with Westford House serving as the clubhouse address.
