Golf Course Overview
Diss Golf Club was founded in 1903 and sits at Stuston Common, straddling the Norfolk–Suffolk border just outside the market town of Diss. The 18-hole course measures approximately 6,200 yards with a par of 70 and takes advantage of natural commonland features — heath, gorse and ponds — in the manner of a traditional old-style heathland track. The small, beautifully maintained greens are a particular highlight, running true and often demanding delicate touch, while the variety of holes and the natural hazards provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards.
The members' club has a friendly clubhouse with a bar, dining and function facilities, and visitors are welcomed via the online tee-time booking portal. As well as its regular club competitions, Diss runs a busy programme of Open events and hosts juniors, ladies and seniors sections. The club enjoys excellent transport links just off the A140 and A143, within easy reach of Norwich, Ipswich, Thetford and Bury St Edmunds.
