Golf Course Overview
Dirleton Castle Golf Club is a non-course-owning members' club based in the East Lothian village of Dirleton, with members playing their competitions and matches over local courses including Gullane and the West Links at North Berwick. Founded in 1854, the club is among the older organisations on Scotland's Golf Coast, although it has never owned its own course and operates as a private members' organisation in the artisan tradition.
The club has a clubhouse in Dirleton village close to Dirleton Castle and runs a regular fixture list of competitions, monthly medals and matches. Dirleton sits on the A198 coast road between Gullane and North Berwick, around 22 miles east of Edinburgh, in the heart of one of the world's great concentrations of links golf courses.
