Golf Course Overview

Derby Golf Club plays over Sinfin Golf Course, a municipal parkland layout on the southern edge of Derby that dates from 1923. The 18-hole course measures around 6,256 yards to a par of 70 and is generally considered a forgiving test, with gently rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways and a mix of par-3s and big-drive par-4s that make it suitable for golfers of every standard. The club itself operates as a members' section playing over the council-owned course and has a long history in Derby city golf.

Course facilities include a pro shop, driving range and practice area managed alongside the Sinfin operation, with a clubhouse offering a bar and catering for members and visitors. Tee times can be booked directly through the pro shop and the course is open to the public year round. The site is close to Pride Park Stadium and easily reached from the A50 and A38, giving good access to both Derby city centre and the surrounding region.
