Golf Course Overview

Darnford Moors Golf Club is a family-run venue on Darnford Lane, just outside Lichfield, that opened on 22 February 2002. The site has two 9-hole courses: the Moors, a par-34 layout sitting on a sand base for excellent drainage and with an inland-links feel, where three demanding par 3s ranging from 147 to 190 yards punish anything off-line; and the Academy course, a par-27 short layout opened in 2009 with hole lengths from 55 to 119 yards, ideal for short-game practice, beginners and families. Multiple tee positions on the Moors give a varied 18-hole loop.

Practice facilities include a 28-bay covered driving range with short-game area and the Robert Rock Golf Academy, while the magnificent clubhouse offers a restaurant, bar and a function suite hosting weddings, christenings, presentation evenings and corporate events. Darnford Moors is open to visitors seven days a week, sits a short drive from Lichfield city centre and the A38, and continues to attract society and society-day bookings throughout the year.
