Golf Course Overview

Crookhill Park Golf Club was established in 1974 as a municipal parkland course on the outskirts of Conisbrough near Doncaster. The 18-hole layout plays to a par of 70 over approximately 5,850 yards, set across gently rolling parkland with mature trees and strategically placed bunkers that add significantly to the overall challenge. The course's signature hole is the 11th, locally known as the "Card Wrecker" — a demanding 439-yard par 4 featuring five ditches, a pond, a tight tree-lined fairway and an elevated green that has earned a reputation as one of the toughest par 4s in Yorkshire.

The course is operated by Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust and welcomes both members and pay-and-play visitors seven days a week. On-site facilities include a pro shop, clubhouse with bar and catering, practice area and putting green. Members benefit from official WHS handicaps, affiliation to England Golf, the Yorkshire Union and Sheffield Union, and the chance to represent the club in inter-club events. The course sits just off the A630 between Rotherham and Doncaster, making it very accessible from the M18 and wider South Yorkshire road network.
