Golf Course Overview

Crewe Golf Club was established in 1911 on the edge of Haslington village and its 18-hole parkland course was designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid. The members-owned course plays to a par of 71 over approximately 6,517 yards from the white tees, with a course rating of 72.3 and slope of 134. Set over about 150 acres of Cheshire countryside, it combines wide forgiving fairways with tighter tree-lined holes framed by stately oaks, strategic ponds demanding accuracy on approach shots and well-bunkered greens. The course has good natural drainage and is regarded as one of the better all-year playing surfaces in the area.

Facilities include a welcoming clubhouse with bar and dining, pro shop, driving range and short-game practice area. Visitors are welcome through the professional's shop or online booking, and members of fellow James Braid-designed clubs plus County Card holders qualify for discounts. The club hosts a full calendar of competitions and social events and fields active teams in county and inter-club leagues. Located on Fields Road in Haslington, the course is a short drive from the A500 and junctions 16 and 17 of the M6.
