Golf Course Overview
Craythorne Golf Club at Rolleston on Dove near Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, was an 18-hole parkland course of 5,642 yards (par 68) founded in 1972 and reshaped in 1995 by David Hemstock, known for its tight, narrow fairways, driving range and chip-and-putt area. The course closed in 2013, the empty clubhouse was destroyed in an arson attack in 2014, and planning for up to 40 holiday chalets has since been proposed on the largely brownfield site.
