Golf Course Overview
Craignure Golf Club is a 9-hole links course on the Isle of Mull, set on the shores of the Sound of Mull just south of Craignure ferry port. Founded in 1895, the natural seaside layout measures around 5,072 yards over 18 (par 66) and offers an authentic west-coast Scottish golfing experience over relatively flat terrain with traditional links turf, gorse and a stream meandering through several holes. Views across the Sound to mainland Argyll and the surrounding hills are a constant feature of the round.
The simple clubhouse offers a warm welcome, with green fees paid via honesty box outside competition days. Craignure is reached by Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Oban (around 45 minutes), with the golf course just a short drive south on the A849 from the ferry pier. Pony, deer and otter are not uncommon visitors to the course.
