Golf Course Overview
Craigie Hill Golf Club was founded in 1911 and is steeped in history, located on the western edge of the historic city of Perth at Cherrybank. The 18-hole parkland course was originally designed by Willie Fernie and measures 5,386 yards with a par of 66 (SSS 67). Laid out around the natural contours of the hillside, it offers some of the most breathtaking scenery of any course in the area, with vistas across the meandering River Tay, Kinnoull Hill, the city of Perth and onwards to the snow-capped Grampian Mountains and the Crieff Hills. Each hole T-sign offers helpful hints to aid unfamiliar players, with all yardages measured to the centre of the greens.
The club has a welcoming clubhouse with bar and catering (closed Mondays and Tuesdays), a pro shop offering tee bookings via online booking, and is a regular venue for Perth & Kinross County Golf Union events. Visitor tee times can be reserved online, and the clubhouse is available for events and venue hire. Located on the western edge of Perth at Cherrybank on Glasgow Road, Craigie Hill is only around 25 minutes (17 miles) from Gleneagles and easily accessible from the M90 and A9.
