Golf Course Overview
Corhampton Golf Club was founded in 1891 and sits on chalk downland about ten miles south of Winchester, within the South Downs National Park. The 18-hole course measures 6,398 yards off the white tees to a par of 71, using natural contours, mature woodland and artfully placed bunkers to test players of every level. Free-draining chalk subsoil means the course plays firm and fast year-round, with wide-ranging views across the Meon Valley hills and surrounding countryside.
The light and spacious clubhouse has a bar, restaurant and a balcony overlooking the course, and the club hosts an active social calendar including dinners and live-music events. The pro shop is led by PGA professional Ian Roper and offers tuition, custom fitting and equipment. Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday by arrangement. The club sits on Shepherds Farm Lane in Corhampton village, signposted from the A32 Alton–Fareham road.
