Golf Course Overview
Copsewood Grange Golf Club has its origins in 1924 and was originally designed by T.J. McAuley. Formerly known successively as GEC, GPT and Marconi Golf Club, the club operates a flat nine-hole parkland course (played as 18 from differing tees) measuring 6,048 yards with a par of 72. Located approximately 2.5 miles east of Coventry city centre, the course is regarded as a hidden gem in Warwickshire and features a number of testing water hazards, tight tree-lined fairways and a notable par-5 double dogleg. Greens are widely complimented as among the best in the area.
The clubhouse is part of the wider community sports complex on the former GEC factory site and offers bar facilities. The club has an active seniors' section that plays a regular Wednesday-morning competition and contests around 13 inter-club fixtures within Warwickshire each summer. Visitors must book online up to one day in advance, with availability typically from after 12 noon, after 4pm in summer and after 3pm in November. Online booking and tee management is via intelligentgolf.
