Golf Course Overview
Colne Golf Club is a scenic 9-hole parkland course founded in 1901, set in the beautiful East Lancashire countryside just outside the town of Colne. Played as 18 holes from dual tee positions, the course extends to 6,053 yards at a par of 70, nestling between the Yorkshire Dales and the Ribble Valley with Pendle Hill dominating the western horizon and the Wuthering Heights moors of the Brontë Sisters' literary fame visible to the east. Despite its compact 9-hole format, members are proud of a layout that offers a genuine test for the discerning golfer.
The club is easily accessible from the M65 or the A56 and A6068 from Yorkshire, making it a convenient destination for visitors from across East Lancashire and beyond. The welcoming clubhouse with bar and restaurant provides excellent facilities, and the course is regularly praised as a "little gem" that rewards repeat visits.
