Golf Course Overview
Clydebank Overtoun Golf Club, founded in 1928, is a private members' club that operates from the parkland Dalmuir Golf Course on the northern edge of Clydebank. The 18-hole course is owned and managed by West Dunbartonshire Council and offers far-reaching views of the Kilpatrick Hills as it climbs and falls across the site. The layout measures around 5,269 yards from the white tees and is widely respected for the quality of its short holes, with the famous 14th, 'The Gully', regarded as one of the toughest par threes in the country, alongside the well-known 'Wee Drap'.
Members and visitors share the use of the municipal facilities at Dalmuir, including a putting green, driving range and clubhouse amenities. The club has a long tradition of competitive golf and runs a busy fixtures calendar of medals, knockouts and inter-club matches. The course is easily reached from Glasgow city centre via the A82 and from the surrounding Dunbartonshire towns, with parking available on site at Overtoun Road.
