Golf Course Overview
Clydebank & District Golf Club was founded in 1905 and is located in the village of Hardgate just north of Clydebank. The 18-hole parkland course is relatively flat and measures around 5,802 yards to a par of 69, with tree-lined fairways meaning that accuracy is rewarded over length. The remains of the Roman Antonine Wall — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — run along the southern boundary of the course at the 7th hole, adding historical interest to the round. The greens are maintained to a high standard and the layout offers a good mix of difficulty and reward at a respectable green fee.
The clubhouse offers a bar, restaurant and changing rooms, with a pro shop, putting green and trolley hire available. Visitors are welcomed Monday to Friday excluding public holidays, and the location is convenient for Glasgow Airport, Loch Lomond and the West End of Glasgow.
