Golf Course Overview
Clowance Golf Club forms part of the historic Clowance Estate, set in 97 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland and woodlands surrounding an 18th-century manor house in the heart of west Cornwall. The 9-hole/18-tee, par-65 (some sources par-67) parkland course measures around 4,256 yards, with ten greens and alternative tees giving variety on the second loop. The mild Cornish climate has allowed the estate to feature a remarkable range of unusual trees, with over 50 species including Chusan Palms from China, alongside rare wildflowers such as Mexican Fleabane.
The wider Clowance Estate & Country Club is primarily a timeshare resort, offering secluded lodges, coach houses, patio homes and golf-view apartments together with an indoor leisure and sports centre, lake, tennis courts, putting green, playground and small fee-payable activities. Located between Falmouth and St Ives, the resort lies on the B3303 just south of Praze-an-Beeble in the south Cornwall peninsula, around 19 miles from Newquay Airport.
