Golf Course Overview
Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club was founded in 1993 and occupies a picturesque rural site on the Shropshire and Worcestershire border. Designed by Ray Baldwin, it offers a full-length 27-hole parkland layout arranged as three nines — Deer Park, Foxes Run, and Badgers Sett — that combine in various configurations to provide different 18-hole tests. The championship pairing measures around 6,147 yards with a par of 72 and is known for generous fairways, varied elevation changes, and good year-round drainage that keeps temporary greens largely unnecessary.
Alongside the course the club offers a clubhouse with bar and restaurant, a pro shop, function and conference rooms for weddings and events, and four self-catering country lodges for overnight stays. Visitors, open events, and society bookings are welcomed seven days a week. The club is situated on Wyre Common, about two miles outside Cleobury Mortimer village off the A4117, roughly 45 minutes from central Birmingham.
