Golf Course Overview

Churchill & Blakedown Golf Club was founded in 1926 and is the longest course in its immediate North Worcestershire area. The nine-hole, 18-tee parkland layout measures around 6,469 yards with a par of 73 and is laid out on free-draining sandstone subsoil, allowing play virtually every day of the year. The quality of the greens is the standout feature of the club, with Churchill & Blakedown regularly chosen to host Worcestershire County events. The course has been rated the best 9-hole course in the UK by golfshake.com.

The clubhouse was completely refurbished in 2021 and offers comfortable air-conditioned surroundings with course views, full bar, function space and excellent catering provided in partnership with Gil's of Wolverley. The club is also home to the Angus Hoare Golf Academy with a PGA Advanced Teaching professional, three-camera video analysis and ball-tracking technology. Members and visitors book tee times via the Club V1 system. The course lies just off Churchill Lane in Blakedown, near Kidderminster, easily reached from the A456.
