Golf Course Overview
Chichester Golf Club is a public 45-hole complex at Hunston, just south of Chichester, with two full-length parkland courses and a par-3 short course. The flagship Cathedral Course, designed by Philip Saunders and opened in 1990, measures around 6,442 yards to a par of 72, with water features on numerous holes; the par-5 5th, nicknamed the Mother, stretches to 601 yards and sits between two testing water-carry par threes. The adjacent Tower Course plays to around 6,066 yards off the back tees with a par of 71 and offers a slightly more forgiving alternative.
Facilities include a 26-bay covered, floodlit driving range, a short par-3 course for beginners and families, a 9-hole crazy-golf course, practice greens and a pro shop. The clubhouse, a converted Sussex farmhouse, hosts society days, weddings and functions. The course is located off the B2145 in Hunston Village, about two miles south of Chichester and easily reached via the A27, with Goodwood, Bognor Regis and the Manhood Peninsula all within a short drive.
