Golf Course Overview
Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club lies in rolling Hertfordshire countryside a short drive from Stevenage and Letchworth. The main 18-hole course has a links-like feel, with open fairways, undulating greens and around 6,650 yards of testing golf that suits players of all standards. Alongside it, the 9-hole Lannock Links par-3 course is well maintained with excellent drainage for year-round play, making it ideal for beginners, juniors or a quick practice round.
The venue is operated by The Club Company and is more than a golf club: facilities include a 20-bay Toptracer-powered Strike Shack driving range with bar and food service, a modern gym with more than 50 weekly classes, a hydro pool, sauna and steam room, a spa, a pro shop and three function rooms suitable for weddings, business meetings and society days. Both courses are open to visitors and societies, and tee times can be booked online. Chesfield Downs is just off the B197 at Jack's Hill, Graveley, around ten minutes from junction 8 of the A1(M).
