 Golf Course Overview

Cherry Burton Golf Club near Beverley in East Yorkshire was a 9-hole, 2,775-yard par-34 parkland course opened in 1993 with wide fairways, mature trees, well-placed bunkers and water hazards on the 5th and 7th holes, plus a driving range, known locally as a friendly and scenic course popular with Hull and Beverley golfers. The club closed in early 2018 as conditions deteriorated and golfer numbers fell, and the clubhouse bar was long-term closed. In January 2019 the site was sold to Aureus Leisure (owner of The Hawthorns Holiday Park and Sandy Beaches Caravan Site), with the land being developed into a golf and leisure park with plans for holiday accommodation.

Closed 2018.
