Golf Course Overview

Chartridge Park Golf Club opened for play in 1990 and occupies a peaceful elevated site within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The 18-hole parkland course was designed by respected teacher and architect John Jacobs and measures around 5,409 yards to a par of 68, making short-game skill and accurate iron play far more valuable than raw length. The layout uses the natural contours of the Pednor Valley to good effect, with tree-lined fairways, undulating greens and steep inclines on several holes that will often leave the ball well above or below the feet. The course enjoys sweeping views of the surrounding Chiltern Hills throughout the round.

Chartridge Park is privately and family owned, with a welcoming clubhouse offering bar, restaurant and patio seating, plus function rooms capable of hosting 20 to 130 guests for weddings, corporate events and private parties. Facilities include an indoor Foresight GCQuad golf studio, PGA tuition with Head Professional Noel Quinn, a pro shop and an active junior section. Visitors, societies and corporate days are all welcomed, and members benefit from reciprocal play at more than 50 other venues through the club's affiliated networks. The club lies between Chesham, Amersham, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead and High Wycombe, with good road access from all directions.
