Golf Course Overview
Chalgrave Manor Golf Club opened on 31 May 1994 and is laid out on around 150 acres of rolling Bedfordshire countryside, designed by Weller Designs. Playing to a par of 72 and stretching to roughly 6,400 yards from the back tees, the course drops some 35 metres from top to bottom and features numerous doglegs, sloped fairways and large greens that drain freely for year-round play. The 9th, a par-5 of around 593 yards from the white tees, is one of the longest holes in club golf, while the picturesque par-3 10th plays across a lake to a severely sloping green.
The club has built its reputation on a friendly, modern atmosphere and offers a clubhouse, bar, well-stocked pro shop and practice facilities. Visitors are welcome any time midweek, and after 11.00am at weekends and on Bank Holidays, with no handicap certificate required. Located on the A5120 just south of Toddington village and only a few minutes from Junction 12 of the M1, Chalgrave Manor is easily accessible from Luton, Milton Keynes and the Home Counties, hosting regular member competitions, society days and corporate events.
